Overview
Predator is a range of football boots developed by sportswear manufacturer Adidas and worn by high profile players such as David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. To coincide with the 2004 European Championships in Portugal, Bibliothèque produced spatial and marketing concepts to display and document the evolution of this cutting-edge product range.

An installation was created to exhibit each boot and ball combination from the previous 10 years of European and World-cup tournaments (a total of five sets). Each set was displayed in a series of perspex cases in the window of the Oki-Ni boutique on Savile Row in London. The concealed fixing mechanism within each transparent case gave the illusion that the products floated in mid air.
The hand-numbered, limited-edition catalogue was made available as a giveaway item. Each spread features a ball, and corresponding boot, photographed at actual size. A short return page featuring the plan view of the boot reveals technical information about development and construction of this innovative product range.
