Bibliothèque were invited to contribute a poster design for Olympik, an exhibition by Grafik magazine which celebrated the rich relationship between graphic design and the Olympic Games. Read more
The dynamics of judo are reinforced by the graphic process. Exaggerated motion is line-screened in two directions creating a clashing texture that emphasises the speed and dynamism of the two opponents. The event name is reproduced in Kanji to acknowledge the Japanese heritage of this particular martial art.
The posters were exhibited at The German Gymnasium from 22–24.09.09
